Born into a Christian family, Maureen had a childhood experience of understanding her need of salvation and trusting Christ to be Saviour and Lord. In her own words this was the beginning of her love affair not only with the Lord, but with His Word.

Whilst she subsequently faced many losses and challenges in life, Maureen discovered that what the enemy meant for evil, God was more than able to turn for good and perhaps her mission statement for life could be summed up in Romans 8:28.

Through Bible teaching and prayer ministry, Maureen's passion is to encourage and motivate others to find salvation, healing and freedom in the Lord so that they will fulfil their spiritual destiny and extend the kingdom of God.

Maureen is blessed to have a twenty one year old son, Willliam, who has Downs Syndrome. They live together in Lurgan, County Armagh, along with Jayne whom God has placed strategically in their live not only to care for William and provide a weekly programme for him, but to set Maureen free for the ministry.

Maureen, William and Jayne are all active members of Emmanuel Church in Lurgan.

A word from Pastor Philip Emerson
Maureen is a well respected member of emmanuel church in Lurgan, Co Armagh. I personally have known Maureen and her family for some forty years. She is a friend and confidant and is part of the senior teaching team in emmanuel. E-gals grew out of a coffee morning for ladies where they would meet for a chat and bible study.

The last couple of years it has developed into a well established ministry, we know this is God's blessing but a lot must go to Maureen's skill in the word. With years of experience in both life and the word of God people now travel from far and wide to hear her teach. On a more personal note my wife and I have been blessed by her love and friendship. This is her time and I feel honoured to be part of it.
